Header/Footer Option

Hi Abhinav619. The option is under your preferences. Click संपादन and then enable पृष्ठ नामस्थान पर सम्पादन करते समय शीर्षक और तल क्षेत्र दिखाएँ।. If you don't want it permanently but only a few times, you can click ठीक करना उपकरण just above the edit window, and then click the icon that looks like this. Help for my wiki account access

Hi, I am aniruddha (अनिरुद्ध!). I have lost my phone and google authenticator was in that. I am now unable to login. The ten code given while installing authenticator is also not working. Is there any way to access my account again?- अनिरुद्ध!, १६ अक्टूबर

Hi! There are ways to do it, but it's a bit cumbersome. Basically you have to file a Phabricator ticket like this one. Did you try the scratch codes on your home wiki (hi.wikipedia.org) or some other wiki? That might have something to do with it. Gap in Pages

Hi, I am finding gap before paragraphs even though I am not inserting ⁠ template. Check this for example. --Abhinav619 (वार्ता) १५:१२, १९ अक्टूबर २०१९ (UTC)

Hi Abhinav619, this is because of site CSS. As far as I know, most Wikisources use CSS that adds that gap, because the majority of books that are transcribed are formatted that way. It's possible to add some CSS to undo that effect, but it's little use to add that on a page-by-page basis if the entire book is formatted that way – it's better to use one CSS class that does it for the entire work once all pages have been transcribed and you've made a page for the work in the main namespace. For example one can add this class in MediaWiki:Common.css:

.noindent p {
    text-indent:0;
}

And then in a page like अहिल्याबाई होलकर/तीसरा अध्याय you wrap the <pages /> tag in this:

</div>

As COVID-19 has forced the Wikimedia communities to stay at home and like many other affiliates, CIS-A2K has decided to suspend all offline activities till 15th September 2020 (or till further notice). I present to you for an online training session for future coming months. The CIS-A2K have conducted a Online Indic Wikisource Proofreadthon to enrich our Indian classic literature in digital format.

WHAT DO YOU NEED

• Booklist: a collection of books to be proofread. Kindly help us to find some classical literature your language. The book should not be available in any third party website with Unicode formatted text. Please collect the books and add our event page book list.

• Participants: Kindly sign your name at Participants section if you wish to participate this event.

• Reviewer: Kindly promote yourself as administrator/reviewer of this proofreadthon and add your proposal here. The administrator/reviewers could participate in this Proofreadthon.

• Some social media coverage: I would request to all Indic Wikisource community member, please spread the news to all social media channel, we always try to convince it your Wikipedia/Wikisource to use their SiteNotice. Of course, you must also use your own Wikisource site notice.

• Some awards: There may be some award/prize given by CIS-A2K.

• A way to count validated and proofread pages:Wikisource Contest Tools
