अनुसार धर्म-शिक्षा भी दी जाती है। पर इसके कार्य-कर्ताओं में थियासफ़िस्ट ही अधि हैं। कालेज का प्रबन्ध, लोग कहते हैं, अच्छा है। इसका एक बोडिंग हाउस भी है। काश्मीर-नरेश की संस्कृत-पाठशाला भी इसी कालेज में है। उसका भी प्रबन्ध इसी कालेज के अधिकारियों के हाथ में है।
इनके सिवा बनारस में और भी कई स्कूल हैं। बनारस संस्कृत का घर है। वहां संस्कृत की कई एक पाठशालायें हैं। बनारस के प्रसिद्ध पण्डित शिवकुमार-शास्त्री महाराजा-दरभंगा की पाठशाला
बनारस में सिर्फ एक ही पुस्तकालय नाम लेने लायक है। वह ज्ञानवापी के पास है। उसका नाम है कारमाइकल लाइब्ररी। उसमें पुस्तकों का अच्छा संग्रह है।
बनारस में कई छापेखाने हैं। उनमें से मेडिकल हाल प्रेस,
